Services & Practice

Margaret has worked therapeutically in various settings over the years and currently practises independently as well as in the voluntary sector.  She has substantial experience in working with the issues and effects of abuse and sexual violence, as well as with people displaced by organised violence including torture.   She has worked transculturally and with spoken language interpreters for a number of years.  Socio-political issues have long been an interest -  as well as  developing training workshops using creative action methods on issues of power, equality and diversity - a constant learning process...  She was involved in co-producing a practitioners handbook for the BPA on working with issues of diversity and equality.

Other services offered include: clinical supervision, workshops for personal development and psychodrama therapy groups for women around issues particular to women’s experiences of being in the world.

Having benefitted greatly from periods of restorative time in her working life, Margaret is keen on self-care as a sustainable process and in exploring how we can learn from our deep wisdom, particularly in personally and politically challenging times.
