Save the Date
We are delighted to share the theme of the British Psychodrama Association’s Conference of Psychodrama and Sociodrama 2027:
The Living Moment: Meeting What Is, Creating What Might Be
Pre-Conference Training: 21–22 July 2027, with Nellie Vyzantiadou
Main Conference: 23–25 July 2027
Venue: Eastwood Hall, Nottinghamshire
Our theme borrows a phrase from D.H. Lawrence, and it feels fitting to gather in Eastwood, the town where he was born. The Living Moment invites us into what our work does best: being fully present with what is here, and from there, daring to create something new together, in the room and beyond it.
Nellie is shaping her pre-conference training around the theme, and we will share full details as soon as they are ready.
WHAT'S COMING NEXT
Call for conference workshops: early December 2026
Bookings open: mid-March 2027
Please hold the dates, tell a colleague, and start wondering what living moment you might bring with you. We look forward to meeting you there.
Our Annual Conference is becoming increasingly international.
We welcome you! We would like to be sensitive to the economic reality of your travel costs and the differences in income across the world.
Therefore, using data from the World Bank group, we ask that those from low and lower-middle income countries contact us directly at conference@psychodrama.org.uk to find a way for you to join us.
The venue is Eastwood Hall in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, the hometown of D.H. Lawrence, from whom our theme is drawn.
Warm wishes on behalf of the BPA Conference 2027 organising committee, Pen Fitzgerald, Dorothy Ho and Valerie Monti Holland (Co-Chairs).
