CHRIS ANDREWS | SOCIODRAMA AND SOCIAL REPAIR: RECONNECTING AFTER LOCKDOWN

For 2 years, people across the world experienced long periods of disconnection and isolation from each other. Cut off from our communities, workplaces, friends and extended families, lockdown led to high levels of mental health problems and social anxiety. As we emerge from confinement, we are faced with the challenge of reconnecting with each other at a time of fractured relationships and social division. Using a sociodrammatic approach, his workshop will explore how we meet this challenge.

About
CHRIS ANDREWS

I am trained in both psychodrama and sociodrama and am also a sociodrama trainer. I work within the NHS, private practice and also contribute to facilitating workshops at the London Centre for Psychodrama. I have a background as a social campaigner, and have worked with groups, teams, student groups and communities for the past 30 years. I believe wholeheartedly in psychodrama and sociodrama as powerful tools in our attempts to understand and heal, both individually and collectively as a society.
