BPA Psychodrama and Sociodrama Conference 2026

We are delighted to introduce you to the theme of the British Psychodrama Association‘s Conference of Psychodrama and Sociodrama 2026 as

Wellspring: Re-sourcing Ourselves and Our Collective.

Our gathering begins with a Pre-Conference Training Offer on Wednesday, 29 July & Thursday, 30 July.  We are so fortunate that Louise Lipman from New York will facilitate a Two Day Training on Sociometry, an essential method of both Psychodrama and Sociodrama.

The Main Conference will take place from 31st July to 2nd August 2026 (from Friday 12 noon until 1:45 pm Sunday) at The Old Swan Inn, in the Historic Spa Town of Harrogate, England, a renowned place of healing and renewal for over 400 years.

PRE-CONFERENCE TRAINING & MAIN CONFERENCE

2+3 days, 30 workshops offered by 35 presenters from 13 countries, and plenty of time to connect.

Our Annual Conference is becoming increasingly international.

We welcome you! We would like to be sensitive to the economic reality of your travel costs and the differences in income across the world.

Therefore, using data from the World Bank group, we ask that those from low and lower-middle income countries contact us directly at conference@psychodrama.org.uk to find a way for you to join us.

The venue is the beautiful and historic Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, in the north of England.

If you have the time, we would appreciate your help in spreading the news about the conference through your contacts, professional networks and social media accounts. BPA conferences are open to newcomers as well as experienced practitioners, so let your friends and colleagues know about this great opportunity to learn about and experience psychodrama, sociodrama and sociometry.

Warm wishes on behalf of the BPA conference 2026 organising committee.
